Language Assistants:

Denbigh school would like to welcome our three new language assistants who have joined to help our students to acquire & develop their language skills in French, German & Spanish.

Miss Maira Gaitan, Miss Melanie Amaya & Miss Charlene Lorin will be with us until May of 2008. We wish them every success and hope their time with us will be of as much help to their professional development as it will be for our students.

A welcome from Melanie:

Hallo, wie geht´s? I am Melanie, the German Language Assistant. I come from Freiburg which is a nice city located in the south-west of Germany.

I am a pedagogic student of Biology, English and German. Later on I want to become a secondary school teacher. That is one reason why I decided to take a break in my studies and work as an Assistant Teacher in Milton Keynes. In my opinion it is a great opportunity to see different ways of teaching, to gain experiences and to improve my language skills. Moreover I want to show that Germany has many faces.

It is worth learning German to get to know the country and the people. Therefore I will give my best in supporting every student to learn the German language.
