Music Live: Trip Report

Fifty Denbigh students attended Music Live at the NEC, Birmingham where they were provided with all the information required to start a career in the music industry.

Music Live is an annual showcase of manufacturers’ new products and music educational courses.  Experts in every field were on hand to offer constructive advice and positive direction on everything from sound engineering through to promoting a band.

The stands were fully interactive, with students enjoying the opportunity to try out some excellent guitars, extraordinary synthesizers, as well as trying their hand on some electronic drum kits!

Mr Martin, Music Teacher said;

“Many of the Music Live stands showed some very talented musicians who demonstrated an excellent range of music equipment, although some Denbigh students definitely gave them a run for their money.  The highlight of the day for many was the live stage where several bands entertained the enthusiastic audience and left everyone wanting more.  We left the venue with vital information to progress and music ringing in our ears!”
