MasterChef

Delicious aromas were once again wafting out of DT5 as students from each House created their culinary concoctions to wow the judges for the glory of House Points & personal pride.

For the 4th time in 5 years Curie were crowned overall Master Chef champions with Ryan and Ellena winning the Key Stage 4/5 category and garnering special merit for the Chicken Divane as well. Sheriff & Rosie also contributed strongly to the victory & their Strawberry Dessert was another highlight of the night.

The other Houses finished: Brunel 2nd, Newton 3rd, Stephenson 4th and Darwin 5th.

Thanks & Congratualtions to all the students who took part in another hotly-contested Inter-House Event and special thanks to the Staff for organising the event.

Activities Day Deadline

Also, our annual Activities Day has been in the planning for some months and we are now waiting on all students to return their forms, stating what they would like to do on these days. The deadline date is: Friday 12th March. 

Several of the activities are already full (Thurs: Bowling, London Eye, Thorpe Park; Fri: Bowling, Master Chef, Xscape, Wakeboarding, Wii Gaming, Alton Towers) and, if students want to ensure they stand the best chance of getting their first choices, then an early return of the form is essential.
