The Science faculty comprises the subjects of Biology, Chemistry & Physics...
Science at Key Stage 3 introduces students to a wide range of scientific knowledge, concepts and skills in the three subject areas of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
These concepts are developed during Key Stage 4 and, with greater emphasis on the application of Science in the modern world, students are encouraged to apply their understanding and form opinions about the ways in which Science is used.
Students in Year 10 follow the 21st Century Science Curriculum which is designed to stimulate interest in, and understanding of, contemporary science issues.
In Year 11, students may undertake a more advanced study of scientific concepts in preparation for Post 16 Science courses.
Alternatively they may undertake an applied course which is designed to further students’ understanding of the way that Science is used in the world today.
Future Doctors specialise in helping students in their preparation for the highly competitive Medical School application process with dedicated interview skills, UKCAT and BMAT guidance.
They also host weekend courses at Imperial and UCL, organise work experience programs and have an extensive online resource dedicated to getting you into Medical School.
