A Blockbuster Trip: Sixth Formers discover Careers at Pinewood Studios

26 Sixth Form Media and Drama students visited Pinewood Studios for their Futures Festival, one of Europe’s largest careers events for those looking to work in the Film & TV industries.  Our students explored the world-renowned studio, engaging with industry professionals, universities and Pinewood’s own on-site college, as well as gaining hands-on experience with professional equipment.

Highlights of the day included photo opportunities with iconic film props, costumes and characters, filming a live-action scene with a full cast and crew, discovering cutting-edge CGI Technology, and watching an exciting live stunt performance on the iconic 007 Stage.

At the home of super spies, superheroes and galaxies far far away, our students came away inspired by the opportunities available in the screen industry!
