Celebrating Achievement in the Creative Arts and Arts

Achievement and contribution in the Creative Arts and Arts subjects of Art, Drama, Music, Music Technology, English, Media, Humanities, Languages & Social Sciences were celebrated at a recent Awards Evening.  It was a wonderful night with Dominic Wood, our Chair of Governors handing out the awards and student performances from the Creative Arts, English and Humanities Faculties entertaining an audience of families and friends.

Over 100 awards were given out on the night recognising academic achievement and outstanding contribution and for participation in extra-curricular activities.  A highlight of the evening was the awarding of our ‘Creative Arts Lifetime Achievement Awards’ which are given to Year 13 students who have made an outstanding contribution to the Creative Arts throughout their time at Denbigh.  This year Carrera Rishica Jain, Vikram Nair, Rania Shahid Pozo, Oliver Stepien, Lap Yeung Tong & Douglas Wood were recognised.  We are proud of them all and look forward to hearing about their artistic journeys after Denbigh.

We also celebrated our success in MK Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition and the work undertaken this year by our Student Ambassadors for the Holocaust Education Trust – Keira Cardwell, Archie Muir, Shruti Ramkumar, Mohkam Roda, Josef Skeens & Ryan White.

The Ceremony was truly memorable for students, parents and staff.
