Denbigh joins Jamie Oliver’s Biggest Cookery Class in the World

Our students joined Jamie Oliver in his attempt to create a Guinness World Record for the biggest ever on-line cookery class across multiple venues.  We joined thousands of people across the World for a live virtual cooking lesson with Jamie and his chefs showing us how to make a delicious dish of pasta with tomato sauce.  The World Record attempt is based on the 10 core food skills that Jamie thinks every student should have before they leave school.

Mrs Spittle, Head of DT Faculty, who led the School’s entry said: ‘Joining Jamie Oliver in his world record attempt was a really exciting experience for our students and they did Jamie proud with the delicious pasta dishes they produced.  We look forward to hearing if we did indeed help to break that Guinness World Record!’
