Eshan is elected Vice Chair of MK Youth Council

Eshan Gorsi, Year 11 has been elected as Vice Chair of the MK Youth Council.  Eshan will now help lead the work of the Youth Council which uses its voice to represent and improve the lives of young people in Milton Keynes.  Youth Council members engage in meetings, events and workshops as part of their role and Eshan will use the experience of Citizenship he has gained from being a key member of our School Council.

Eshan said about his appointment as Vice Chair: ‘I am very excited! It’s not just a big win for me personally, but it means that now we have three students from Denbigh holding senior roles on the MK Youth Council.  This means Denbigh is very well represented city wide and the voices of our students are reaching far beyond our School.  In my new role, alongside members of the School Council I want to spread the word to all Denbigh students about how young people in MK can influence decisions made in the City, as well having an impact across the UK.  All in all, I am ecstatic & get ready for big things soon!’
