Pride Event celebrates belonging at Denbigh

Our first ever Pride Event was a huge success and a wonderful celebration of inclusion and diversity in our school community.  The Event was well attended by students, staff and families and reflected our core value of ensuring that everyone knows that they belong at Denbigh School.   We were delighted that the Mayor of MK was able to attend the Event and that we were able to raise funds for our School Charity, Samuel’s Charity on the night.

A big thank you to all the performers who entertained us so well in the sunshine, to Mr Harrington our LGBTQ+ Ambassador, to the Sixth Form Student Inclusion Committee and to the Student LGBTQIA Awareness Group.   All involved worked so hard to organise this joyous event.  Mr Harrington summed up the evening when he said: ‘It was a night of inclusion and teamwork and that he was proud to share it with us all.’
