Success in Sixth Form National Maths Challenge
Congratulations to the 53 talented Sixth Form Mathematicians who competed against students from across the country in UKMT’s Senior Mathematical Challenge. The UKMT Challenge is open to Sixth Form students across the country, testing them on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques.
Our young mathematicians achieved a fantastic set of results with six Gold medals, 16 Silver medals and 21 Bronze medals.
Gold medallist and our highest achiever, Toby Snowdon qualified for the British Mathematical Olympiad and his fellow gold medallists – HarryLong, Harley West, Kush Tailor, Ahmet Alakus and Apiran Arulnesan qualified for the follow-on Kangaroo Round of the Challenge. We are very proud that they qualified for the follow-on rounds where they will be able to demonstrate their exceptional mathematical skills further.
