Year 12 Singers JEMZ win Talent Show

The 2025 Talent Show was a triumph!  Nearly every seat in the Meeting Hall was taken and there was a great atmosphere created by the audience, hosts, judges and contestants.  15 talented acts entertained us including a contortionist, a speed rubix cube solver, a drama comedy act, classical Indian dancers, the Sixth Form Band and pianists.  The show was hosted expertly by Year 12 students Eliott Wilson and Anya Ravilious.  

Such was the high standard of talent on display it was a tricky decision for our judging panel who were our esteemed House Champions!   In the end, five girl singers from Year 12 called JEMZ, won with their rendition of a Billie Eilish song with the judges loving their slick harmonies and polished performance.   Joining JEMZ on the podium were Chimdalu Anozie & Zakariya Rae who were the runners up with a wonderful piano duet.  Third place was given to Rohan Makam who performed ‘Free’ by the KPop Demon Hunters.

Mrs Clegg, our Drama Teacher said: ‘A massive thank you and congratulations to all involved on a fantastic night for our school community. Thank you to my colleagues in the Creative Arts Team for putting this show on and to our super talented cast and hosts.   The evening raised £600 which will go towards this year’s school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which we are so excited to be preparing for.
