Success in first ever National Maths Challenge for Girls  

Congratulations to the 17 talented female Mathematicians from Year 11 to Year 13 who competed against girls from across the country in UKMT’s first ever National Mathematical Challenge for Girls.  The Challenge has been launched with the aim of inspiring and challenging young female mathematicians from across the UK. 

Our students achieved a fantastic set of results with five Distinctions, seven Merits and five Participation certificates.   A special mention goes to Bornini Das, Year 11 who was ‘Best in School’ and recorded one of the highest results a Denbigh student has ever achieved in a UKMT Challenge.  Congratulations also to Meera Batakurkiwho was ‘Best in Year 12’ and Nidhi Billawho was ‘Best in Year 13’.
