Year 11 students celebrate top GCSE grades

It was a day of huge celebration as our Year 11 students received their GCSE examination results.  The students were able to celebrate their outstanding results with teachers, families and friends.    The School’s results showed a marked increase in the proportion of students achieving a Strong Pass (Grade 5 or above) in English & Maths, as well as strong grades across the board.  The top 17 GCSE students scored an average of Grade 8 or above across all their subjects and the top 45 students scored an average of Grade 7 and above.  This is a brilliant achievement, and we are very proud of them all.

Our top ten performing students were:

Headteacher, Mr Anthony Steed said: ‘We are immensely proud of every single one of our students. Their hard work, perseverance, and determination have truly paid off, and today’s results are a testament to their commitment. These young people have overcome some of the most challenging circumstances in recent memory, with the beginning of their secondary education shaped by the disruption of the Covid-19 Pandemic. These results are not just grades on a page – they represent years of effort, growth, and resilience. We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful to our dedicated staff and supportive families who have worked alongside them every step of the way. Today is a celebration of their success and of their bright futures ahead.’
