Celebrating our Cultural Diversity
Our Year 7 to 11 Cultures Day was a huge success with the school full of students wearing clothes representative of their culture and heritage. We are very proud of the cultural diversity of our school community and this event created a wonderful atmosphere in-school. Although it has only been running for two years, this event has already become one of the highlights of the school year.
The House Councils ran stalls at break time selling cultural dishes which proved hugely popular with students with them all selling out. Adding together the funds raised by the stalls and the donations from parents via parentmail we raised £730 for our House Charities which are:
Stephenson House – Cancer Research
Newton House – KidsOut
Curie House – MK Act
Brunel House – MK Food Bank
Darwin House – Young Minds
